Everyone involved in Internet Marketing knows that link building is an essential part of success. There are many link building tools available on the market, and the list will continue to grow as long as incoming links are so important to the life blood of an online presence. You can build the links to your website yourself, use link building software or outsource the entire job.
Doing everything yourself may be cost effective at first if you don't have the budget to outsource. Doing things yourself can take up much of your valuable time, so at some point, plan on outsourcing. It's one of the keys to success.
There are a lot of link building software programs that you can use to leverage your time. They offer distinct time saving aspects and many of them are free. Here are a few that you may want to implement right away.
1. "Link Building Solutions" offers one-way link building plan that is free and pretty unique. High quality websites are the only ones accepted into the network and the program has about 200 at present. Each qualified member agrees to link to the other members. These are one-way links only which is good.
2. "Hand Submit" is a One-Way Links Program. Hand Submit is an old-fashioned technique that hasn't updated. All web sites in the program are authentic, backed by hard working marketers. Their motto is, "Old-fashioned service on the new frontier." The cost is $175.00 per year so they use old fashioned pricing as well.
3. Another useful program is "Link Dominators" that sells one-way links for 13 clients each. It posts content on your behalf on different blogs and pings as well as submits RSS feeds.
4. "Fast Directory Submitter" is another free tool. This tool allows you to add your site profile and description one time, and then submit your site to over 2,000 directories.
5. "Comment Kahuna" is another free link building program that enables you to automate posts on your blogs. You can select blogs using the rank displaying feature in order for you to choose those that are on a certain platform or of a certain rank.

Another popular feature of Raven is that it automatically alerts you if any changes have occurred on an active link, for example, if the no-follow attribute was added, if the anchor text was changed, if the rank changed, or if the link was removed. Reports and data can be generated and downloaded.
